The rural house Los Arcos is located in Becedas, a small village located to the Southwest of the province of Ávila, some 200 km from Madrid and set in the middle of Regional Park of Sierra de Gredos. Due to its strategic location, we can easily arrive in less than 1 hour to various landscapes such as the Valle del Jerte, Macizo Central de Gredos (Hoyos del Espino), as well as the capital Salamancaor the typical Ávilan landscape. Furthermore, it is some 15 minutes from the ski court La Covatilla and from ancient villages with great charme,such as Candelario, Béjar, or Barco de Ávila.
DESCRIPTION
It is a large, century-old house, located in the centre of the village. It has kept the architectural characteristics and the charme and decoration of the rural artesanship even through its restauration. It has all the necessary services for your comfort.
On the ground floor,it has a great stone living-room and a fireplace that gives it a warm environment and household heat. TV and music equipment. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and has a fuel-wood room and another boiler for the cold winter nights.
On the second floor we find 3 rooms, one of which, the double bed, has a full bathroom; the other two have 2 beds each, with access to a balcony.On the last floor, we have a cozy and spacious garret with another 2 beds, television, closet and a table. It has access to the terrace, enjoying some wonderful views of the Sierra Becedas. It has another 2 bathrooms, one with shower and the other with tub.
The house is enabled for 8 people.
ACTIVITIES
The village is found in the middle of nature, surrounded by hills with oaks, chestnuts, pines and holm-oaks. The ravine of the river Becedillas crosses the village and offers us beautiful landscapes with ponds and a natural swimming-pool, where you can bathe in summer or simply enjoy its charme all the year round. There are many routes for horseback riding, trekking, and bicicling.
The house is open all year round, and we will gladly answer questions or requests for more information.
